How to configure email client to send and receive email

Most of the hosting companies provide POP3, IMAP, and SMTP servers for sending and receiving email. There are numerous email clients available that support POP and IMAP. You will need to configure your email client to access your new mailbox(es). To do so, you will need :

  1. Incoming mail server (POP3/IMAP server): mail.yourdomain.com
  2. Outgoing mail server (SMTP server): mail.yourdomain.com Or Host: mail.yourdomain.com
  3. Username: the full e-mail address. Example: you@yourdomain.com
  4. Password: Assigned in cPanel -> Email -> Manage/Add/Remove Accounts.
